SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of implementation of the projects including gathering functional requirements, developing functional and technical designs, preparing documentation and testing
  • Develop detailed project plan includes resources, scope, budgets, schedule and timeline
  • Work closely with clients to develop, formulate, review the business implementation strategies and project phases
  • To oversee and manage the implementation of the project on a daily basis with regard to timeline, scope, change and quality
  • Holding project kick off meeting and produce management presentations
  • Review and sign off agreed project deliverables / documentation
  • Manage changes and escalate timely in anticipation of any potential project issues that could impact projects and schedule
  • Conduct project status meeting (internal and external)
  • Ensure project review is conducted, and maintain relevant project team communication
  • To maintain high customer satisfaction and close customer relationship at all times

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT related discipline. An MBA holder is preferred
  • Min 5 years project management experience in either IT project consultancies / implementation of project for GLC / Public Sector customers is a must
  • Good understanding of the systems development life cycles
  • Must be proficient in English with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Should have experienced in managing teams
  • High-level attention to details and quality, proven organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership skills in building effective project teams, motivating others, delegating and time / quality decision making
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good negotiation and diplomatic skills
  • Excellent customer-facing capabilities
