Responsibilities:
- Merchant Engagement and Partnership: Proactively identify and connect with potential merchants, comprehending their needs, and persuading them to establish partnerships by providing tailored solutions.
- End-to-End Merchant Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire merchant lifecycle, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth operations of the brand and team members; develop and review operational plans that align with the organization’s strategic direction, emphasizing efficient day-to-day operations.
- Sales and Profitability: Effectively manage a pipeline of customer prospects, securing new business relationships to surpass sales and profitability targets.
- Relationship Building: Continuously foster and maintain long-term, sustainable relationships with merchants.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Identify trends, opportunities, or issues with key merchants that could impact revenue or profitability.
- Collaborative Marketing Support: Assist the marketing and campaign team in developing impactful sales and marketing campaigns with merchants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Marketing/Communications/Commerce, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of business development or operation experience in retail and/or FMCG/or e-commerce/online industry.
- Entry-level candidates or those without specific experience are also encouraged to apply.
